I know this sounds right but I'm not sure if this is actually how he plays it.  I tried 
figure it out in a style similar to Dave's playing.  The pinky on the 8th fret on the 
string isn't always audible so hitting that note isn't incredibly important.  Great new song and relatively fun to play
