    Grow Up & Blow Away

Metric - Raw Sugar, off of Grow Up and Blow Away.

If I've made any errors that matter, let me know: smc42190@gmail.com. I'm not entirely sure
about the inversions (slash chords) in the first verse. Sonority-wise, I'm confident
they
are inverted as such, with a descending bass-line, half steps, but I'm not sure if what
have is exactly
what the acoustic guitar is playing.

It also sounds like most of the A minors are E-string barre chords, though again, I may again
be listening to the whole rather than solely the acoustic guitar there.

I was also loose about sevenths. The only chords that may have a seventh
are the E (and E/G#) chords. If you think you hear the D in there, let me know, and I'll give
it a listen and fix this.

Thanks,
Stephen

               Am E/G#
Sort of wonder why No one said a word
                         C/G
Don't you like it on the sly?
                          Ab
Don't you like it till it hurts?
     Bb Am E/G#
Have I been on your mind? What's a voice without a song?
                  C/G Ab
Something in your head You've been fighting all along...

Bb Am
I don't want to say it, The news is not so good
We'll never get away, And even if we could
We'd just play the tambourine Around an open flame
Oversleep and burn To be back in the game

       Bb C E
'Cause summer never comes Nowhere near high noon
                 Am Ab
And winter never comes Nor the harvest moon

    C
Raw sugar
                                Bb
I don't want to die living in a high rise grave

My baby come home
Ab Gm
(same black day, high rise grave)

No I'm not complaining, Yes it could be worse
Ferment on the wish bone, Match the lips to the purse
Neighborhood's a runway, Fry the ass and thighs
Dirty diamond dealers, pushed behind the ire's

'Cause summer never comes Nowhere near high noon
And winter never comes Nor the harvest moon

Raw sugar
I don't want to die living in a high rise grave
My baby come home
(same black day, high rise grave)

                 Am E7
Still I wear the red dress, Paint my toes and twirl
                C Ab
Take it back to old times, when I was still a girl
       Bb Am E7
'Cause now I'm all baboon boys, Cootchie Cootchie Coo
               C Ab
Sort of wonder why I missed a kiss for you

       Bb
'Cause summer never comes (same black day, high rise grave)
Winter never comes (same black day, high rise grave)
