No disrespect intended towards previous uploaders, there has been some good
transcriptions in standard tuning, but this one is in Open D5 tuning with a capo
on 3rd fret like Patty plays it.
So if you are looking for an easier version in standard tuning, either read the
text in the bottom of this page for mine, or use one of the previous four versions
here which are good too.
But if you do wanna play it like this, I highly recommend that you watch the
tutorial too, since there is alot of plucking and strumming going on that would be
hard to explain in text here.

[Intro]: D5 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2

Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4
It's hard to listen to a hard hard heart, beating close to mine
Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Asus4
Pounding up against the stone and steel, walls that I won't climb
Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4
Sometimes a hurt is so deep deep deep, you think that you're gonna drown
Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Asus4
Sometimes all I can do is weep weep weep, with all this rain falling down

  Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5
Strange how hard it rains now, rows and rows of big dark clouds
         Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2
When I'm holding on underneath this shroud, rain

[Interlude 1]: Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4

Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4
It's hard to know when to give up the fight, some things you want will just never be right
Gsus2 Asus4 Bm Asus4 Gsus2 Asus4
It's never rained like it has tonight before
Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4
Now I don't wanna beg you baby, for something maybe you could never give
Gsus2 Asus4 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 Asus4
I'm not looking for the rest of your life, I just want another chance to live

  Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5
Strange how hard it rains now, rows and rows of big dark clouds
         Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2
When I'm holding on underneath this shroud, rain

  Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5
Strange how hard it rains now, rows and rows of big dark clouds
         Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2
When I'm holding on underneath this shroud, rain
  Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5
Strange how hard it rains now, rows and rows of big dark clouds
          Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2 D5 Bm7 Asus4 Gsus2
When I'm still alive underneath this shroud, rain

Oh rain, oh rain

Free papers for this song are available in .pdf on my website, you can find the
link in the description on the YouTube tutorial.
Among the papers available are Lyrics & Chords, Lyrics & Chords plus (with added
numbers of strumming pattern rounds per chord), Chord Diagrams, Tablature (on some
parts) and Playing Patterns (strumming).
I also have a Easy version with Standard tuning available if you think this way of
playing is too hard, I of course also show this in the tutorial.
If you need further help or explanations don't hesitate to ask, if it's a subject
where other people may benefit from the answer it's best done by posting a comment
on the tutorial, but posts here and personal messages will also be answered (though not as fast)!
