Song: Devil in a Midnight Mass
CD: Billy Talent II
Track: 1
Tuning: Drop D
Tabbed By: Sean Connelly, peebrainx@gmail.com

This is an awesome song that Billy Talent has released on their MySpace
page before the CD comes out. There were two versions released - a demo
version, and the final version. This is a tab of the final version
(that will probably appear on their CD). I can't wait for the album,
in stores June 27th, 2006!!! :-)

Drop D tuning. This tab isn't 100% but it's a solid start that has most
of the tricky parts figured out.

Intro:
e|-----------------------------|
G|-----------------------------|
B|-----------------------------|
D|--------------0--------3--2--|
A|--0-------0-1----1--0--------|
D|----3-0-3--------------------|

This melody is used a lot in the song. Listen to hear the timing of the
last part of it.

D|-------------------||--0--|

D|----3-0-3-----0~~--||-----|
                        ^^^
End on this note the fourth time

B|--x----x----2~---5~---x----x---|
D|--8~---7~---0~---3~---8~---7~--|

D|--------------0--|
A|--0-------0-1----|
D|----3-0-3--------|

Chorus:
"Silent night!..."
e|-----------|-----------|-----------|-------------------------|
G|--6-6-6-6--|--6-6-6-6--|--8-8-8-8--|-11-11-10~---------------|

A|--0-0-0-0--|--3-3-3-3--|--5-5-5-5--|--8--8--7~--0-------0-1--|
D|--0-0-0-0--|--3-3-3-3--|--5-5-5-5--|--8--8--7~----3-0-3------|

e|-----------|-----------|-----------------------------------|
G|--6-6-6-6--|--6-6-6-6--|-11-11-10-10--8--8--6--6--6-6-6-6--|
B|--7-7-7-7--|--5-5-5-5--|-10-10--9--9--7--7--7--7--5-5-5-5--|
D|--0-0-0-0--|--3-3-3-3--|--8--8--7--7--5--5--0--0--3-3-3-3--|
A|--0-0-0-0--|--3-3-3-3--|--8--8--7--7--5--5--0--0--3-3-3-3--|
D|--0-0-0-0--|--3-3-3-3--|--8--8--7--7--5--5--0--0--3-3-3-3--|

Then transition into another verse or whatever.

You can figure out the ordering on your own. It's pretty simple.
When you hear a riff, it's always the same intro riff, except for
the pre-chorus riff (which is mostly the intro riff anyways).

Happy strumming!!!
