I saw Paul Westerberg in Indianapolis the other night, and he closed with a
great version of this song. The lyrics are as close to what he sang in
concert as I could get (not exactly what is on the album), with some help from
 cs.uwp.edu (transcribed by The Skyway).

B
Get me out of this stinkin' fresh air
D Db B
Night and day in the electric chair
B
Step right up son
E D Db B E
gonna show you something ain't never been done
D Db B
you're all fucked.

Listen, it don't cost much
I lay down the line, and you suck
Never do what you're told
There'll be time for dreamin' when you're old
You're all wrong and I'm right

F# Db
Please be on your honor
F# Db
Please be on my side

Step right up son
