These are the approximate chords I worked out but I don't think that they're
in the same key of the record. So there's lots of room for refinement.
Anyway, here my version :

*****************************************************************************
Lonely Sky - Chris de Burgh (from the album "Spanish Train" - 1975?)

G (320003@1)That cold North wind they call La Bize
Em (022000@1)Is swirling 'round about my knees
C (x32010@1) DTrees (xx0232@1)are crying leaves into the river
GI'm (320003@1)huddled in this French cafe
    Em (022000@1)
I never thought I'd see the day
       C (x32010@1) D (xx0232@1)
When winter's here and summer's nearly over

C (x32010@1) DEven (xx0232@1)the birds have packed up and gone
                G (320003@1) CThey're (x32010@1)flying south with this song
        G (320003@1) C (x32010@1)
And my love, she too has gone
DShe (xx0232@1)had to fly, take care

Chorus :

              GIt's (320003@1)such a lonely sky
Em (022000@1) AmThey'll (x02210@1)trap your wings, my love, and hold your flight
  D (xx0232@1) G (320003@1)
They'll build a cage and steal your only sky
Em (022000@1) AmFly (x02210@1)away, fly to me, fly when the wind is high
D (xx0232@1) DI'm (xx0232@1)sailing beside you in your lonely sky

2nd verse :

The old cathedral lights are low
She and I we'd often go
To admire and sometimes kneel in prayer
Lords and ladies lying in stone
Hand in hand from long ago
Though their hands are cold, their love's forever

Even the choir rehearses those songs
For Christmas is not long
And my love, she too has gone
She had to fly, out there

Chorus:

There's a couple other lines here during the fade out part but no new chords.
