I have always thought this was one of ELO's best hidden gems. So hauntingly
melancholy and sad, but so beautiful at the same time. I figured the chords out
years ago and forgot to put them online until now. No one had ever tried to figure
this song out and put it online and it's a shame because it's so good. Hope you
enjoy playing this one as much as I did! -Will Willer

             OH NO NOT SUSAN
             ---------------
(I suggest listening to the song to make sure your tuning is accurate)

G+ Em Am D
Susan spent the weekend at her stately home
G Em Am D
Crying at the lions on the garden wall
    B7 Em C
And then she'd sigh -- sneak away
            Em C
Look at her style -- free the day

C G Em
Oh no not me -- I wouldn't
C G Em
Oh no not me -- I couldn't
Am D Am D Am
That's all she says, her money and her place
Am D B7 Em - - -D - -C - - G
They just don't mean a fucking thing *strings playing melody untill next verse*

G Em Am D
Susan met the Lords and Dukes of everywhere
G Em Am D
Smiling kissing wishing that they'd go to hell
    B7 Em C
And then she'd laugh -- wonder why
       Em C
Take a nap -- sit and cry
          G Em
Oh no not me -- I wouldn't
  G Em
Oh no not me -- I couldn't
Am D Am D Am
That's all she says, her money and her place
Am D B7 Em - - -D - -C - -G
They just don't mean a fucking thing
